There are always excuses to start cooking. We can always find good reasons to make a good dish or a great dessert, and Valentine’s Day is one of them. Wanting to invite your partner to taste a sweet means that you have spent a lot of time thinking about it, preparing it and, with it, telling them everything you feel through a different sense than the one you normally use.
Sometimes it is not necessary to complicate much to have these details. Therefore, if on February 14 you do not want to spend the whole day preparing a laborious sweet and prefer something quick, we have what you need: desserts for Valentine’s Day without an oven. Choose from among the following recipes to surprise your partner the one you like the most, and enjoy!
Dessert recipes without an oven for a Valentine’s Day with lots of love
Strawberries with chocolate
Strawberries with chocolate are, without a doubt, a great and very romantic dessert that does not have to be eaten at the table. It can be eaten on the sofa, accompanied by a glass of champagne, or even in bed. You will succeed and, best of all, you will be able to prepare this dish in advance!
Ingredients:
- A tub of strawberries
- A tablet of dark or white chocolate to melt
How to do it step by step?
- It is a very simple dessert that, as we said, you can prepare with time. The first thing you should do is wash and remove the green part of the strawberries. Then, stick them on a stick to be able to bathe them in the chocolate without problems. Leave them ready on a separate plate.
- Now melt the chocolate, and when it’s done, grab a spoon to dip the strawberries in. The mechanism is as follows: choose a strawberry, let a thread of chocolate hang down while you spin the strawberry. In this way we will achieve that small chocolate threads are created around it, and that it is very aesthetic! The more chocolate you drop and the more you turn the strawberry, the more chocolate will cover it. Even if you don’t go overboard with chocolate, ideally it should be in its proper measure.
- Finally, look for a place to prick the stick of strawberries (so you won’t support them and the chocolate won’t deform) and put it in the fridge to cool until you’re ready to eat it. It is very simple!
Homemade truffles
Is your partner a chocolate lover? This is the dessert with which you can surprise! We are sure that when you try it, you will be delighted. Take note!
Ingredients:
- 187 grams of chocolate for desserts
- 120 ml. liquid cream
- Two teaspoons of butter
- Dark chocolate and white chocolate noodles
- cocoa powder
How to do it step by step?
- The first thing you should do is boil the cream and let it cool down. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and add the butter to melt until both ingredients are well integrated. When it is ready, add the cream and mix it well until it is a homogeneous mass. Let cool for 24 hours.
- After this rest time, it will be time to make the truffles. The size of them will depend on how you want to do it, but our recommendation is that they should be small so that there is enough quantity to repeat.
- Go taking portions of the dough and give them a round shape. Next, dip them in cocoa powder or chocolate noodles and, finally, place them on specific papers to help their presentation. They are to lick your fingers!
Yogurt and jelly cups
If you want to get away from the usual desserts (chocolate, fruit …), this dessert is very original and very rich. In addition, you can present it in small glasses so that it is not a large quantity. Check out!
Ingredients:
- Cold water
- Boiling water
- 43 grams of strawberry jelly
- An envelope of unflavored gelatin
- Condensed milk
How to do it step by step?
- This dessert is made up of two layers of different colors: white and red. To begin with, you must get down to work with the red part, which will be at the bottom of the glass. To do this, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in a quarter cup of boiling water. Then, add a quarter cup of cold water and stir well until it is ready. In this step, pour about a finger or finger and a half thick into each cup. Then, store everything in the fridge while you prepare the next layer.
- To make the white layer you must bring half a cup of water to a boil and add an envelope of flavorless gelatin while stirring over low heat. When the gelatin has completely dissolved, add a little condensed milk (to taste) and mix well. Let it cool down to room temperature.
- Take the red jelly cups back from the fridge and add two teaspoons of the condensed milk mixture on top. Keep cold so that it solidifies and, finally, add some raspberries or berries to decorate. Ready!
Fake fruit tiramisu
The fake fruit tiramisu is a dessert that, a priori, seems very laborious… But nothing could be further from the truth! You will be surprised how easy it is to prepare.
Ingredients:
- 100 grams of mascarpone cheese
- Strawberries, raspberries or whatever fruit you want to add
- a plain yogurt
- Orange juice
- Orange liquor
- Ladybug biscuits
- 30 grams of icing sugar
How to do it step by step?
- The first thing you should do is mix all the ingredients, so in a bowl add the mascarpone cheese, sugar and natural yogurt. Stir well until a homogeneous mass is left. Meanwhile, put a little orange juice on a plate with a splash of liquor. This will help you to soak the biscuits that you will then place on the plate where you are going to put your dessert. This dish can be either a tray or individual cups (we recommend this presentation for convenience and cleanliness when serving it).
- On top of the biscuits, place the sliced fruit of your choice. Strawberry or raspberry can be two good options, but you can choose the one you like the most. On top of the fruit add the mixture you made at the beginning with the cheese, sugar and yogurt. Above, place some more fruit for decoration and a mixture of cocoa and coffee powder. Cover the tiramisu and keep it cold until serving time.
Mini cheesecakes
We have little to say about this dessert. Except that the cheesecakes, if they are good, speak for themselves!
Ingredients:
- 50 grams of cookies
- 25 grams of butter
- 250 grams of cream cheese
- 250 grams of whipping cream
- 50 grams of sugar
- Half curd for desserts
- Strawberry or raspberry jam
How to do it step by step?
- For the first step, prepare the cookie base: crush the cookies with the help of a mortar and add the melted butter until it is well integrated. The ideal is to have small round molds for the mini cakes. When you have it ready, put the cookie base about half a finger thick and press well to make it compact. Put the base in the fridge.
- Then, put the cream cheese, cream and sugar in a saucepan, and put it on low heat to stir it. The key is that it does not come to a boil. When all the ingredients are integrated, turn off the heat without removing the saucepan and add the curd. Mix again.
- Finally, carefully pour the mixture over the cookie base and put it in the fridge to chill for at least 6 hours. When it has set, you will need to spread the top part with strawberry or raspberry jam (or the one you like the most) although this step is optional. To enjoy!
